12 If you are using Rubrics

Each semester, you will need to go in and set your preferences for grading for any new Assignments or Discussions that use rubrics. The default setting in Canvas is that rubrics will not be used to assign grades, so you will need to follow these steps to that your rubrics can be used to assign grades in Speed Grader:

Cameron to figure out: Increase spacing between list items

For Assignments:

1. Go to the Assignment page.
2. Scroll down to the rubric and click the pencil icon to edit the rubric.
3. Click Update Rubric. Check “Use this rubric for assignment grading.”
4. Click Update Rubric

For Discussions:

1. Go to the Discussion page.
2. Click the gear icon and select Show Rubric.
3. Click the pencil icon to edit the rubric.
4. Check “Use this rubric for assignment grading.”
5. Click Update Rubric.
