Other works by Edmond Paul
There are surely more writings by Edmond Paul that are not listed here, some of which may still be found in libraries and archives.
For example, historian Louis E. Elie (in « Auguste Magloire », 7) says that Edmond Paul wrote 17 brochures from Kingston.

Note: Daniel Supplice (Dictionnaire, 570) cites Edmond Paul as the co-author of « Quelques lignes de reconnaissance à M Victor Hugo pour son article « Un mot sur John Brown » par trois Haïtiens, interprètes des sentiments de leurs compatriotes, 1869 ». This citation is repeated by C3 editions, including the mistaken year of publication (which was actually 1859). Apparently, they interpret that Edmond Paul was the “Paul aîné” who signed the letter to Hugo. This interpretation is doubtful, because Edmond Paul was only 21 or 22 years old at the time, making it unlikely that he would sign as aîné, and because Hugo later addresses this person as “J. Paul aîné” (see Hoffman 1987-1988).
