“Mi español y yo” (20%)

The goal of this project is to reflect on your relationship with the Spanish language and the Hispanic culture in the United States. By reflecting on the roots and use of your Spanish, while considering the sociolinguistic factors within and outside the Hispanic culture, you will be able to better understand your unique relationship with the language and the culture. By the end of the semester, you will create your own video using your own authentic pictures and a narration of your self- reflection. The course project will count as 20% of your overall course average and will be submitted through the Canvas site. More details will be provided in class.
