Academic Integrity and Responsible Conduct of Research Training

Academic Integrity Module (UF)

During this module, you will have the opportunity to read through several scenarios that you may encounter in the classroom or around campus. After reading each scenario, you will have to make a decision about your next step. The decision you make will lead you to one of several outcomes. After each outcome, we will explain the potential academic integrity violations. There will be a short quiz at the end of this module, so be sure to read carefully.

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)

RCR is an important foundation for any type of research you do in your lives, lab based or clinical research, behavioral or environmental, etc., ANY research you are directly or indirectly involved in. You also need to understand the ecosystem of research, that includes the mentor and mentee relationship, how to manage, store, document, validate and analyze data. RCR also asks questions about ethical behavior of you, your peers and the scientific community at large. This can include plagiarism, falsification of data, or modification of data analysis. The course you are in the process of taking embraces collaborative research and protection of human/animal subjects.

For additional help accessing the RCR training, watch the video tutorial below.
