Processing and Reflecting on Institutional/Systemic Racism

Our May 29th session coincided with a week of nationwide protest against violence toward and murder of black and African-American people by individuals and institutions. Twanna Hodge facilitated discussion, leveraging the Practicing Kindness series as a forum for mutual support, compassion, and reflection. The slides below offer resources to better confront and understand current events directly impacting the lives of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and our role in promoting anti-racism.
